The staff at Guide to Iceland easily helped us change our reservation so we could take the ferry on a different day (and in a different direction). Here is my review:
This wonderful cottage is suited in an icelandic unique, stunning surroundings. It has elegant and sophisticated interior designs, with fully equipped kitchen and very nice comprehensive tableware, big comfortable sofa, very thick soft beds. The jacuzzi hot tub is even a wonderful addition. Maggy is a very kind warm host preparing everything thoughtfully in every detail. We got everything far exceeding our expectations. These made our stay here a most enjoyable and memorable one in our traveling. We feel so lucky to have the opportunity to stay here, and could not express enough our appreciation. Highly recommended, and would definitely recommend it to all of our friends.

GREAT way to see Iceland! Our itinerary was extremely detailed (63 pages of things to do over our 12-day stay), our lodgings were always exactly as described, the car rental experience was straightforward, and our excursions were always top-notch.

Even better, they handled the one issue we had quickly and easily. Our glacier hike tour guide fell sick the morning of the hike. He showed up at our starting point and arranged for another tour company to take us on a similar hike. And Guide to Iceland refunded us for the first trip without any issues. Gotta love a company that solves problems like that!

Would HIGHLY recommend using this company for your visit to Iceland!

Abbiamo prenotato una gita in kayak sul lago e, oltre ad aver trovato una giornata spettacolare, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di essere i soli prenotati per quell’orario di conseguenza è stato praticamente un tour privato. La nostra guida, Stephan, ci ha spiegato in modo chiaro le regole di base, ci ha messo a nostro agio subito, ha avuto molta pazienza con noi dandoci anche il tempo di goderci il momento (abbastanza, tra l’altro, per permetterci di fermarci e lasciare il tempo alle foche di prendere confidenza e lasciarsi toccare.. ebbene si: abbiamo accarezzato una foca!!).
È stata un’esperienza magica, per quanto mi riguarda ci siamo immersi totalmente nella natura, godendoci il silenzio e il sole, l’acqua e la vista. Consigliata in tutto e per tutto, soldi ben spesi e ricordi impressi nella mente.

Se potessi darei ancora più stelle!
Un tour super organizzato, prezzo favoloso per l’esperienza vissuta. Il nostro prevedeva il giro del “circolo d’oro”. La nostra guida, Sergei Shramko, super! Ci ha prelevati nel punto pre stabilito in perfetto orario. Un piccolo bus di 17 posti, eravamo solo in 14.
Gentile, disponibile, affabile e preparato! Sembrava di fare un tour in famiglia.
Ha descritto ogni posto visitato, con passione e dettagli particolari.
Il tempo ci ha aiutati perché era una giornata serena , molto fredda ma con un sole che ci ha regalato panorami indimenticabili.
Ci ha regalato anche due stop extra molto carini, uno per i noti cavalli islandesi e un altro in una farm della zona per gustare un ottimo gelato handmade con latte di loro produzione, si vedevano le stalle con i vitellini e le mucche.
Guide ti Iceland super consigliata come agenzia per i tour in Islanda. Molto meglio di altre più note.
