The food was beautiful and extremely delicious. Four of us all had different drinks and meals. All were beautiful and everyone decided theirs was the most delicious. The drinks were delicious and beautiful as well. The chef stopped by so we exclaimed over our delights. Our server was lovely but had no clue how to serve. My meal mates and I believe she needed much training along side an experienced server but alas, that was not to be. The bar tender helped her some but the bar tender was busy too. So we overlooked her inabilities. I did not receive the drink I ordered but drank it anyway because it was delicious. No other major problems with service. I recommend everyone eat here. It is a gem.

We ate here for dinner. The cocktails were fun and different. The food was the highlight: delicious combinations and engaging presentations. Service was great! I highly recommend checking it out. Be sure to make a reservation!

We had the lunch offer of a tomato soup and the fish of the day which was cod tongue (soft and delicate) served on barley with a mango sauce. Also the NOVA two for one lunch offer on the fried haddock which came with a wonderful side salad of potatoes. The food was delicious. Will definitely visit again. Elegant interior design. The staff were very attentive as well. Definitely a hidden gem, and one to support given the relocation from Grindavík.

Great service and even better food! Aside from the delicious lobster soup and the char, I especially liked the bread the restaurant provided. The draft beer I had was also one of the best I have ever had in my life! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in Reykjavik!

This was our favorite dining experience while in Reykjavík. Very cozy decor, delicious fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, and friendly staff. It's a small spot and gets super busy, so make to get a reservation or go early! (Make sure to get the arctic char or pan fried cod.)

Dinner at The Fish House was amazing, from the attentive staff, to our delicious entrees….everything was perfection. Presentation of our entrees only added to their perfection. i would highly recommend including a visit to this restaurant.
