Wow! Get your dinner/lunch at Mama Rama. The chef is the present and everything is thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients.

Dip your naan in the sauce for chicken masala. It's heaven. We got that and the mixed veggie dish, the latter had an excellent spice level.

Mama Rama was able to serve food at the bar, Ægir, next door. Easy to order and eat with a beer.

Truly a fantastic experience. We had the Chole Curry and Buttered Chicken. Both were incredible, but the buttered chicken was out of this world. Owner was extremely nice. Did not expect to find delicious Indian food in Iceland.

There was a bit of confusion with where this was situated, we knew already from past reviews it was hard to locate as it was through the pub called Lemmys and in the back, it was shut when we first got there. It was only on the 2nd visit that we realised it was in the pub itself.

Great atmosphere, and i loved the gothic style of this place. The menu for Mama Ramas, whilst small, was one of the best curries I've tasted and definitely worth a visit.

A gem. We had the vegetarian masala, and it was one of the best dishes we had on our entire trip. The establishment is cozy and the staff were so friendly and generous. Highly recommend stopping in!

So surprised by this experience! Wasn’t expecting such authentic Indian flavours in Iceland but MamaRama delivered.

Like others have mentioned, it’s easy to get confused while looking for the restaurant. It is inside the bar “Lemmy’s”. Once you’ve found it, though, dining here is a fantastic experience!

Awesome kind owner with great butter chicken! Only down side was there wasn’t a lot of chicken in there and little naan for the overall price. But the quality was verrrry good and spicy!

A small Indian restaurant in the heart of Reykjavik serving some delicious Indian food. After days of having crepes and sandwiches we wanted something more interesting when we came across this. We ordered a portion of Chole. It came with rice and a naan. You can either sit at Mama Rama or hop next door to Aegir brew pub (they have a shared kitchen) and they will bring you food there while you enjoy a locally brewed beer.
