Intimt og rolig. Utenfor selve sentrumskjernen men likevel sentralt.
Ble anbefalt noe annet enn husets vin. Fikk smake begge. Det var en god anbefaling til vår bestilling, som var hest.

We've visited the place based on friends recommendations. I booked a table online same day just 30 minutes before and had no issues picking out a time slot.
They serve various local delicacies that you can't really find in the United States.
For appetizers we had smoked puffin breast and wale sashimi.
If you would give me a blind taste I probably would have been lost guessing the type of meat im tasting.
The puffing was moist for the smoked meats im used to and very tender.
They serve soy sause, wasabi and pickle ginger with wale sashimi, along with a couple of slices of raw fish and caviar on top.
In my opinion that's wrong because the wale is a mammal just like a cow and mixing these two on your palate is a no-no in my book.
The soy sauce was not complimenting the wale in my opinion.
For the .main house we had an arctic char, halibut, fish and chips and I've ordered a horse tenderloin steak.
Fish and chips was unremarkable, char had very mild flavor, and was extremely tender.
I have not tasted the halibut, but my wife and daughter said it was great.
I enjoyed the horse steak very much.
It was cooked per chefs recommendation and was juicy and tender.
And baked potato that accompanied it was probably the best I've ever tasted.

The service was very good, prompt and accommodating.
I would definitely go back to taste more different dishes.

The place is cozy and very tite, at least in the room we were sitting - not very good for large people wearing bulky winter clothes.

It was average at best.
There was no bread basket while waiting for our starter. The whale sashimi was poorly sliced and I didn’t like how it tastes.
The smoked puffin breast was not too bad, smoky and lean but the portion was very small.
The horse tenderloin was OK - it wasn’t rested enough before serving hence the juice was coming out, salad that came with it looks a bit messy.
Overall I’m happy to be here but I wouldn’t come back.
