Med bobil hadde vi kun bruk for å tømme vann/ kloakk og påfyll av vann. Det fungerte utmerket. Stor plass. Dyrt som alle andre sentrale campingplasser. Mye knott.

I intentionally drove an hour more to get here as I had a schedule that I wanted to follow but I was disappointed with the facility. It is spacious but the bathrooms are very far from the camping areas. There are no electric or gas stoves provided by the camping facility. They only have an electric kettle and a stove. You have to pay for showers. There are two different showers. This is important. The unlimited showers are 300 ISK but they close at 10pm. The 3 minute hot water shower (100 ISK per 3 mins) is open all night. You can buy the coins at the counter which was helpful. The staff was friendly but I just feel like the facility can be better. There are not enough seating areas where you can sit and eat.

Praticamente unico campeggio in zona e per questo non ci tengono ad offrire un servizio decente. Le docce nonostante siano a pagamento sono fredde l'unico angolo con un lavello è all'esterno e non è presente nessuna cucina. Unica nota positiva è la zona esterna delle piazzole che è tenuta discretamente. Per il resto pessimo

Abbiamo dormito nel campeggio in tenda. Arrivati alla sera tardi ci siamo piazzati sul prato vicino al parcheggio per le macchine e a ridosso della siepe che ci proteggeva un po dal vento. Docce e bagni riscaldati e puliti. Zona comune riscaldata un pò piccola. Non ci sono cucine vere e proprie se non all'esterno, ma impossibile utilizzarle quella sera per la pioggia, noi comunque eravamo indipendenti con il nostro fornello. Prezzo nella media. Consigliato.

Stayed here just for one night.
There is a common room with just water boiler and microwave. No kitchen at all. You need to wash the dishes outside.

Inside the common room there are bathrooms with showers (which are 6 mins / ISK 200). There are two yellow boxes outside with a WC and a sink and for ISK 100 more, you get a key from the reception which allows you to enter a warm room with hot unlimited shower (well, actually hot water comes and go).

Overall nice camping, but I wouldn’t stay more than one night.

We found the campsite to be very functional, efficient and busy.
It was wet, windy and misty, so just needed a place to hunker down for the night and get some laundry done (launderette at the harbour).
The shower and toilet arrangements were fine, clean tidy and with an unlimited length shower option available (good for teenager).
Apart from washing a few dishes, I kept away from the shared kitchen as it was a bit crowded. Seemed okay though

I was a bit disappointed with this campsite. Even though it’s big and generally good, there are quite a few limitations:
1. Be careful and bring your own gas for cooking – there’s only a microwave and toasters available.
2. Showers are not free (100–200 ISK for just 3–6 minutes).
3. The dining/eating area is too small for the number of guests.
