I must start this review by saying, I don't often review my stays. But in this case I must make an acceptation. My Wife and I plus our 10 year old Granddaughter have just stayed for one night at 1x6. In summary, our stay was Outstanding. We were welcomed with coffee and hot chocolate on arrival by Andi and Yuki who had already messaged us earlier in the day to see if we wanted the hot tub readying for that evening! We stayed in a beautiful room decorated in the same style as the rest of the property. Check out their website and you will see what it looks like! Later in the evening we all pilled into the Pool which was fantastic. After a busy day travelling we were all in bed by 9 PM, but had arranged to be woken up if the Northern Lights came out. Sure enough, at about 11 PM there was a knock on the door by Yuki and out we went to take a look at the display! Breakfast the following morning was brilliant. Highly reccommended.

Guesthouse 1x6 exceeded all our expectations! The hot tub was ready and perfectly warm upon arrival, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was hands down the best we had in Iceland—absolutely delicious! The hosts were so lovely and sociable, making us feel right at home. Add to that great coffee and comfortable beds, and we couldn’t have asked for more. By the end of our stay in Iceland, we found ourselves wishing we had also booked our last night here. Highly recommend!

Super adresse, pas loin de l'aéroport de Keflavik. Les propriétaires sont très sympas et ils parlent plusieurs langues ! La chambre est très confortable et le petit déjeuner fait-maison délicieux. Le plus ? La piscine chaude dans le jardin ! Je le recommande !

Super cute little B&B with the friendliest hosts, love for details, beautiful hot pot, excellent breakfast, 2 lovely cats. All that has been previously said, is true. We only can recommend this B&B. Great value for money, especially if you book via their own homepage. We have been to many great hotels/ B&B all over the world, but safe to say, this one is among our top 3. Thanks for the warm welcome Yuki & Andi, we felt at home from minute one.

Door het slechte weer op kerstdag 25 december 2024 werd onze vlucht geannuleerd. We hadden eerder bij Yukiyo and Andi van 1x6 overnacht, dus we stuurden ze een berichtje of ze nog plaats hadden voor ons gezin. Speciaal voor ons werden 3 kamers klaar gemaakt, restaurants gebeld en zelfs de hot pool gevuld. Samen met de heerlijke koffie, fantastisch ontbijt en de oneindig goede zorg door de eigenaren hadden we een onvergetelijke kerstavond. Yukiyo and Andi voor jullie een grote dankjewel. |PS. Andi, met 4 sterren bedoelen Nederlanders vaak uitmuntend en helemaal perfect. Maar jullie verdienen er minimaal 5!

Absolutely the best night stay with a lovely home cooked breakfast in the morning. Yukiyo and Andi are wonderful hosts with insights into local culture, food, and activities. Truly enjoyed my stay and I’m so looking forward to another visit.

Andi and Yuki were excellent hosts. They offer a quick and inexpensive taxi service to and from the airport with a well-curated playlist of local music. The accommodations were quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The natural hot pool was a neat, unique experience. The location is very walkable to the shops, restaurants, and the sea. The bathrooms and decor were unique, artistic, and clean. Would highly recommend staying.

This has been my favorite hotel. Period.

The kindness of Andi and Yuki, with Andi’s great humor and Yuki’s kind smile. The delicious breakfast the following morning. Andi’s rhubarb pie made from his mom’s recipe. The warm rooms with good coffee and chilled water. The cleanliness and fun designs everywhere.
