Fallegasta Spa í vestmannaeyjum 😁

this island was worth a visit! the home was basic - the rooms not large - but they were adequate. the kitchen was pleasant and well equiped. the hosts were helpful in giving information on sightseeing. there is a guidebook that they left in the livingroom and a map of the sights at the entrance. the washingmachine was a plus.

A nice, well-equipped house with everything necessary. Good heating. ||There is a shared bathroom and kitchen for all guests (there are 5 rooms in the house). ||All cooking utensils, tea, etc. is available in the kitchen so you can cook your own meals.||The owner is very friendly and helpful, gave us lots of great advice. ||Certainly recommended for anyone willing to visit the island.

I got stuck on the island during a crazy gale and my phone broke. The last thing I did was look up this guest house, so I went there and called the owner. She worked with me to get my phone back in action and then I booked. The place was perfect, exactly what I needed, and the owners couldn't have been more helpful! There's more I could say but really, this place was amazing. ||||Will totally recommend this place to anybody visiting iceland or the westmans. ||||Also, they made a nice book in the living room that explained a lot about the island and Iceland in general. Very nice.

Wir waren eine Nacht im Guesthouse Hlidaras. Für den Check-in sind wir zum Haus der Besitzerin gelaufen, die eine Straße überhalb wohnt (man kann aber auch anrufen und sie kommt dann zum Guesthouse).Sie ist sehr nett und hat uns viel über die Insel erzählt und es liegt auch Infomaterial im Wohnzimmer aus. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die gut ausgestattet ist. Beim Tag unserer Abreise ist leider unsere Fähre ausgefallen (die Besitzerin hat uns am Vorabend bereits informiert, dass das der Fall sein könnte und wir die früheste Fähre versuchen sollen,da es später noch stürmischer wird - diese ist dann allerdings in letzter Minute auch ausgefallen bzw. ist einen anderen Hafen angefahren), aber wir durften dann noch den ganzen Tag über im Guesthouse "warten" (um 16:00 Uhr ging dann glücklicherweise wieder eine Fähre). Im Badezimmer gibt es eine Waschmaschine (mit bereitgestelltem Waschmittel) und einen Wäscheständer. Die Lage ist gut, nah am Supermarkt und Restaurants. Auch die Fähre ist nur 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

i am an english toruist in iceland and i think this is a really good hotel!

We were a little disappointed by the rooms, which were not as advertised or requested. We were given two single rooms instead of two doubles. The reception given by the host was also rather cold and unwelcoming. We won't be coming back here.
