We flew into Iceland on our way home from Norway and had a canceled flight so we decided to have an Icelandic hotdog and a Viking beer. Great choice between flights. We were so happy to have this available in the airport.

Decent price. 750 IKR i think for one hot dog, which is about on par with other hot dog stands in the country. Love the snap of these dogs.

KEF機場裡有名的冰島熱狗🌭
熱狗本身脆脆的滿好吃
裡面還有加洋蔥碎洋蔥酥很香
準備出境的可以用boarding pass在這裹個腹
一個差不多台幣170左右
⚠️只有持出境boarding pass才能買
如果是落地冰島的話要先走出去到機場大廳
出口外右手邊有一家有點綠綠的便利商店裡面也有一樣的熱狗

The King Returns—Pylsur before Passport Control.

We had a short layover in Keflavík, arriving at that misty Icelandic hour—7am, barely awake, expectations low. But there it was, glowing like a beacon in the terminal: Bæjarins Beztu, open early and serving hot dogs to the worthy.

Even the OG downtown stand doesn’t open until 9am, so this felt like fate. My fiancée, who hadn’t spent the past week with me in Iceland, got to experience the country’s most important culinary export just before boarding. We ordered our morning dogs, grabbed a Kókómjólk, and found ourselves having a perfect Icelandic breakfast. Simple. Sacred. Salty.

As always, the snap of the lamb dog, the raw + crispy onions, and that mysterious remoulade magic made for a bite of pure national identity. Still the best.

Takk fyrir, Bæjarins Beztu—never not there when I need you.

Definitely convenient to have Icelandic hotdogs inside the airport.
We have enjoyed these hotdogs in the Reykjavik city for years. Tasty and creative. You can even purchase the ingredients!
Now, of course, there is merchandise. 😅
