Halló allir. Ég ráði öllum að fara ekki á þetta hótel! Einkunnin er ósanngjarnlega há! Við bókuðum hótelið 1,5 viku fyrir ferðina okkar og greiddu það strax. En flugfélagið okkar var frestað vegna slæmra veðurfar. Við skrifum á hótelin í góðum tíma og segjum þeim einfaldlega að við komumst ekki og viljum afbóka. En þeir svaruðu okkur ekki og héldu samt bókunni okkar. Önnur hótel hjálpuðu okkur að endur-bóka án vandamála og skilaðu okkur peningunum. Við erum mjög skuffuð yfir þessum meðferðum og þjónustu. Því ef þið bókið hótel, velduð annað hótel, þar sem starfsfólk er hliðskjótt og skilur að allt fer ekki alltaf eftir túristanum.

One of our favorite places in Iceland. We loved the concept of the guesthouse as we got to meet a lot of other friendly and interesting guests. We had dinner at the guesthouse and it was phenomenal, in a beautiful dining room with a view of the sea. Breakfast was also good - a wide selection of various cold breakfast items.||Our room (for the 4 of us) was very comfortable. There are two shared bathrooms in the main guesthouse but we didn't have an issue with that. Wi fi is also provided although there were a few times I had to go into the living room to get a connection.

Fantastic place. My wife and I stayed here on our annual family reunion. We had such a great time. We’ve never had to share a room with another guest before but we didn’t mind and we made some new close friends. The food was great, the room was fantastic and very roomy. All of the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend this place.

Bella vista dalle finestre, soprattutto quella della sala da pranzo.
Il servizio ristorante limita l'uso della sala per gli ospiti che non vogliano cenare (i prezzi della cena sono piuttosto cari).
Stanza ampia e pulita ma valigie appoggiate a terra.
Bagni grandi ma pochi per il numero di persone.

Welcoming and stylish guest house that extends over two properties. Meals are served at the modern main house, with more rooms in an older (historic, but renovated to a high standard and very comfortable) guest house one minute away. Inga and Gísli are fantastic hosts. Their food is delicious, among the best meals we had, carefully prepared from scratch using fresh, local ingredients. Breakfasts are generous and tasty, the gravadlax was a particular highlight.

Traumhafte Lage. Tolles Guesthouse mit großartigen Gastgebern. Tolles Ambiente. Leckeres Abendessen. Es gibt ein 3 Gänge Menü im großen schönen Gemeinschaftsbereich serviert, offener Koch- und Essbereich. Großartiger freundlicher Service mit traumhaften Blick aufs Meer und die Westfjords. Schöne Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und Zimmer mit großzügigem Gemeinschaftsbad.

Wonderful Stay by the Ocean at Brinsloo Atelier

I had a lovely experience at Brinsloo Atelier, located right by the ocean. The atmosphere was peaceful and tastefully designed, making it an ideal getaway spot.

Dinner was a three-course meal, beautifully presented and full of flavor. At around €60, it felt well worth the price considering the quality and setting. One unique aspect of the experience is that guests are asked to remove their shoes before entering the restaurant – a custom that adds a cozy and home-like touch.

Everything was well organized, the hosts were kind, and the overall stay was smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Brinsloo Atelier for anyone looking for a quiet and refined seaside retreat.

We stopped here for lunch and it was absolutely lovely! The views are fantastic and the food delicious. The owners, Gisli & Inga, were friendly and welcoming and sent us home with little takeaways. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
