We stumbled across this little bar located inside the Pósthússtræti food hall. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a few drinks while the snow poured down above us visible by the glass roof. Really cosy, great vibe. Would highly recommended stopping by here for a drink, we didn’t have food.

Located in the Posthus food hall, this was our go to spot each evening whilst we were in Reykjavik as were were staying close by. We always ended up here - drawn back to the lovely seated area and drinks on offer.

I wish I had taken pics of every cocktail that I tried - but they were so good, I forgot about the pics and just indulged.

The bar staff were great and their cocktails were seriously good.

You could grab food from many of the food options within the food hall - and whilst we did try some of those food options - we usually went elsewhere for food and ended our evening here.

We visited this bar a few times on our trip to Iceland. Located in the Posthus Food Hall, there were plenty of options to have something to much on while you drink.

The bartenders were very friendly and the drinks were great. They made a few suggestions which we tried and were definitely impressed with the drinks.

All the drinks we tried were great but I’d recommend you definitely try the “Johnny’s Back”, it was amazing.

Would definitely visit here again on my next trip to Iceland!

If you're local, you already know. If you're traveling like me, this is what I found: for some reason, Reykjavik has extremely high standards for cocktail innovation and quality. You'll find creative and delicious at almost every bar and restaurant you go to.

One bar I recommend is Drykk Bar, tucked away at the back of Pósthús Food Hall. They don't have many reviews on Google here and I'd like to add to it. I'd say this is my second fave bar on this trip (the first being the bar at Kol Restaurant).

🥃 Bartender: Motiejus from Lithuania. I asked for a custom fruity, spirit forward drink and got a strawberry old-fashioned. Top-notch

Excellent service from the bar staff and very pleasant cocktails, we chose food from various places and drinks from the bar here and enjoyed the hospitality and food equally.
