Þykir leitt að geta ekki gefið fleiri stjörnur en varð fyrir vonbrigðum þegar ég kom á staðinn... leit svo vel út í auglýsingu en var svo lítið með ómögulegum sófagarmi og hörðum stólum. Þröngt, lítið og alls ekki kostnaðar virði miða við marga staði sem ég hef gist á hér á Íslandi.

Estuvimos hace tres años y nos gustó tanto que hemos vuelto a repetir destino. Si estás cansado de estar cambiando de alojamiento este a nosotros nos pareció muy bien ubicado. A media hora de Húsavik si quieres ir a ver ballenas, muy próximo a la zona del lago Myvatn, si quieres ir a la zona de Krafla, Hverir, salto de agua de Godafoss, es más, no dejes de visitar después de ver este salto de agua uno que hay a una hora de camino adentrándote por una carretera secundaria, el salto de Aldeyjarfoss.
Es una casita/apartamento que enamora. Muy independiente con los apartamentos vecinos. Muy luminoso.
Con menaje para poderte cocinar sin grandes excesos, pero con su placa vitrocerámica de dos zonas de cocción.
Aunque no lo usamos dispones de una barbacoa de gas en el almacenillo exterior.
Después de tres años si es cierto que se nota un poco el paso del tiempo y los clientes, no por ello pienses que están en mal estado. Si vuelvo por la zona que es probable, repetiría.
Un detalle también a valorar es su proximidad a la Carretera 1, cuestión que en época de invierno es de tener en cuenta quiero suponer.
El hot tub no tiene precio. Somos de estar todo el día de un sitio a otro, llegar y darte un baño en el te sienta de maravilla.
Por decir algo que se podía haber mejorado es la empresa que lleva la contratación de las casitas. Cuando estuvimos la primera vez contratamos directamente con la Propiedad, esta vez ha sido a través de una empresa que lo gestiona. Hasta ahí dirías "que mas da", ¿cual es el problema?. Te cobran 45€ por juego de sábanas y toallas por persona, salvo que te lo lleves tu. Cuando falta un día para entrar te envían un mensaje esta empresa dándote la bienvenida y diciendote que tienes que hacer antes de abandonar la casa su limpieza correspondiente, tanto de habitaciones, cocina y cuarto de baño completo. En caso de no hacerlo los servicios de limpieza en la zona, te vienen a decir, son muy caros y pasarían cargo.
La verdad que animo a tod@ aquel que quiera ir a alojarse que no lo dude y vaya, a mi juicio están de maravilla, salvo la empresa que gestiona la contratación de ellos.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce cottage ! L’endroit est d’une propreté irréprochable, bien situé et parfaitement calme. À moins de deux minutes de la route numéro 1, ce logement est idéalement placé, tout en étant préservé de la pollution lumineuse. Cela nous a permis de profiter de magnifiques aurores boréales, même depuis l’intérieur, grâce aux grandes baies vitrées et aux fenêtres présentes sur chaque mur — un vrai plaisir de les admirer bien au chaud !

Le chauffage au sol est un vrai atout : la chaleur à l’intérieur est très agréable et rend l’ambiance du cottage d’autant plus confortable. Le logement est par ailleurs bien équipé, avec une cuisine fonctionnelle et une salle de bain impeccable. Le bain chaud extérieur est un véritable atout, parfait pour se relaxer après une longue journée. Le site comprend cinq cottages, tous suffisamment éloignés pour garantir une grande intimité.

Les lits sont confortables et permettent un bon repos. Deux petites améliorations pourraient être envisagées : offrir des oreillers supplémentaires un peu plus épais (ceux disponibles sont assez plats) et remplacer le canapé clic-clac, qui manque un peu de confort pour se détendre. Mais ce sont vraiment des détails dans un séjour par ailleurs parfait. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir lors de notre prochain voyage en Islande !

The pastoral setting for these cottages was beautiful. I loved taking a walk on the trail mowed into the adjacent field for that purpose watching and listening to the birds that were nesting there. I even saw an owl on one of those walks. The private hot tub was the highlight of the cottage itself, and we appreciated having access to the grill. The kitchen was adequately stocked for basic cooking. We also appreciated that the fridge had a freezer in it for refreezing our cooler ice packs. Location was excellent for exploring the North.

This unit felt the most cramped of the places we stayed in during our trip to Iceland. The couch seemed to take up too much of the main room, and the kitchen counter was very small for food prep, cleaning dishes, etc. There was no dishwasher. The unit was also incredibly warm when we arrived. It took quite some time to cool it down with all of the windows and the door open, which led to lots of flies inside. The beds were not the most comfortable of our trip. While clean linens were provided, this was the only property we stayed in where we had to make up our own beds using those linens.

Overall, this was a comfortable but basic home base for our exploration of the North of Iceland.

What an amazing cottage. Located right in nature and absolutely quiet at night. Really peaceful. There are 5 houses in total, 2 bigger and 3 smaller houses. We stayed in a smaller house. We had some trouble opening two suitcases but it wasn’t a big deal. There’s a table with 4 chairs and a couch. Small kitchen but has everything you need to cook a decent meal. Bbq outside is wonderful. Bathroom is great. Beds are fine. Heated floor was really nice. But the highlight of it all and the foremost reason to book this cottage: the hot tub outside. It’s massive and deep. So comfortable. Really nice fresh hot water. We stayed in the hot tub for hours.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The large windows create a nice bright living area. Open concept kitchen, dining and living area with a loft above the living area. Loft is nice if you need more than 2 bedrooms. Bedrooms are small but we spent most of our time in the main living space, so not an issue. We used both the outdoor hot tub and BBQ with no problems. We drove from the cottage to Húsavík and back for whale watching. Located close to highway 1 so it was easy to find and to return to the highway for the next leg of our trip. Peaceful setting set in a large open field surrounded by low hills.

¡¡Me encanta!! Ya es maravilloso el sistema de recepción 24 horas. La sensación de tranquilidad. La cabaña está perfectamente aprovechada y acondicionada. El jacuzzi en la puerta, un acierto. El entorno, hasta con un glaciar cerca. Volvería sin dudarlo.
Para cenar, recomiendo Dalakofinn, a 3 Km, en Laugar.
