Ég er gestur hérna og mér er gersamlega misboðið þó þetta eigi að kallast gistiheimili þá er maturinn skammtaður og ekki nóg fyrir alla að fá ábót frostpinni eða biti af harðfisk rétt út í loftið sem desert.aðalréttur 2 fiski bitar ekki meira en tvist súkkulaði á stærð pínkulitlir ,kvitkál og kartōflur og sósa var með 39 skóla krakka allt drengir frá 12 ára upp í 16 ára flestir vildu ábót en ekki í boði .Ég er svo hneyksluð að orð fá ekki líst og meira að segja hundur vaðandi um inn í eldhúsinu svo sonur eiganda að hjálpa Mōmmu sinni að skammta með hendurnar í matnum . Ég er lærður kokkur og hef alldrei í lífinu mínu upplifað annað eins og fyrir þetta rusl þarf fólk að borga dýrum dómum. Ég er bara orðlaus í alla staði

Gistum þarna í gamla kennarabústaðnum, eina nótt, fjórir fullorðnir og þrjú börn 0 - 7 ára. Húsið var hreint og fínt og þarna var allt til alls, meira að segja búið að koma fyrir ungbarnarúmi án þess að beðið hafi verið um það. - Umhverfið notalegt og kyrrðin einstök. Já, og fögur var Hlíðin.............

Heimilslegt og vingjarnlegt gistiheimili í Fljótshlíðinni. Jana og Guðni tóku virkilega vel á móti okkur og eiga heiður skilinn fyrir gestrisni sína.

Iceland was great the guesthouse was ok|It was good we had total use of the facilities. The scenery was beautiful from the guesthouse.|However I believe the food was not up to the standard that other reviews are suggesting. The portion size was not great, packed lunches - an apple and sandwich we had to make ourselves was not enough. The breakfast was minimal choice and repetitive. There was no choice of food. The meat was of bad quality and lacked any flavour on any of the meals. The desert was very poor and extremely small (one very small slice of melon on one of the nights). For the money my parents paid I would have expected better. Finally the owners son who was 10 should not be helping run the guesthouse - unprofessional (along with the fact the he should not be throwing snowballs at the guests before we ate our dinner)! At the end, we should not have been expected to strip beds and empty the dustbins, it was supposed to be a holiday! However the hosts were nice, thanks

We had an amazing 4 nights at this beautiful guesthouse on a college trip. Food was good, showers warm and beds very comfortable. The views were great with some good walks from the house and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights two nights in a row! Would recommend.

A brilliant venue - great food, hospitality and a perfect setting. This is an ideal location for exploring the geographical features of southern Iceland. Our host went to great efforts to really immerse us in the Icelandic culture. Absolutely loved it!

I went with my school for 4 nights and it was really fun. Firstly, I loved how warm the rooms were, but a bit disappointed with the amount of space. Would have appreciated more bathrooms as the girls house only had 3 bathrooms for about 11 rooms. I did like the fact seconds were an option but normally there wasn’t enough for me to get any. Breakfast was very repetitive, and the desserts were very lazy. For example, canned fruit and sliced melons. For the amount my parents paid, I would have deeply appreciated more effort. Overall, a decent stay but certain things do need to be improved.

The host was nice and kind. Thats about the only good thing about this experience. Both food options (vegetarian and normal) were not the best. Our room was unknown to us advertised as a three bed. We were a group of six. They squeezed three new beds into this already tiny room. Two of them were made of boxes. Beds were not clean, mine and a few others had old dried blood on them, it was disgusting. One bed was next to the sink and got water all over her bed. The other bed has a clothing rail over it which we could not use due to a bed being underneath it. Two beds were pushed to the edge, as this was a triangle slanted room they hit their heads a few times. The dust was unreal. We were awoken at 5.00 to a cockerel. Could not get back to sleep. The bathroom outside was so impractical. There was a picture of a lady above my bed, it freaked me out a little but didnt bother me however it freaked out my friend so i took it off the wall to move it. When i took the picture off the wall the colour difference of the wall behind the picture was disgusting. Obviously cant really be fixed but try clean it. The shared kettle between multiple rooms was alright i guess. Going back to the food we got 1 digestive biscuit as a treat and was told to put it in the bag with my sandwich. It became soggy and tasted like salami. Was close to sights but do not reccomend.
