It's a small guesthouse with nice shared kitchens and bathrooms. Goods beds. Covenient location to explore the south coast. Good value for your money. The only negative is that the fridge could be cleaner and the check in time is quite late (5:00 pm), although we were able to check in earlier thanks to the au pair of the family. The owner lives with her family above the guesthouse, so you can you hear them walk, play piano but this was no problem for us, there are just normal sounds and only during daytime. Could really recommend this guesthouse!!

The guesthouse is in a really small town, it is a perfect start point for many excursions in south Iceland. Cozy house, big and tidy rooms, good wi-fi connection, there are two shared bathrooms always clean and a good kitchen. The landlady is kind and polite.

Stayed here for two nights end of June. Very friendly owner. Great location/base for seeing the South part of Iceland. A third consecutive night gets you a 10% discount. We had a double room at ISK 12.000/night with breakfast at ISK 1.300 per person. You must order breakfast the day before. It is served at 8 a.m., not before. Breakfast includes cereal, skyr, boiled eggs, bread, toast, coffee, juices, ham, salami and cheese. Great way to start your day. Towels, linens, pillow all supplied. Bring your own soap. Excellent sleep, quiet, very clean and bright rooms. Two kitchens to cook in if you wish. Lots of cooking supplies. Two large bathrooms shared amongst 5 rooms. The guesthouse was fully booked when we were there. ||Great pizza place to eat at if, while leaving the guesthouse, you continue straight across the road and down the street about 1 km, on the left. Open until 10 p.m. Order at the counter and pick a booth.

Le camere sono enormi, nel seminterrato ma luminosissime. Anche il bagno in comune è grande e davvero pulito. Ci sono addirittura due cucine e due bagni per quattro stanze, quindi si sta davvero comodi. Non c'è molto da fare in città, ma il supermercato è vicino. La famiglia è molto gentile.

Very nice place. Great for mid way stay from golden circle to Vatnajokul in winter.vik is 20 mins away. Very quite. Nice and friendly owners. We were lucky to see northern lights during our stay. I totally recommend this farm away from the city and true Icelandic experience. Only thing is you have to pay for linen and have to pay by cash. But they mention it in fine print so it wasn't surprise for us.

La cabaña contaba con dos habitaciones, un baño, una cocina y comedor amplios. Televisión, wifi y calefacción. Pasamos una noche en la cabaña, muy limpia, en una granja y muy cerca de la carretera. Muy silenciosa. Todo fue perfecto. Además tiene una pequeña terraza desde donde ver auroras boreales si no hay nubes.

We stayed the minimum 2 nights, in order to enjoy a Porsmork tour (which was well worth it!). We had a twin bed room, adjacent to one of the two shared kitchens in the basement. There were two shared shower rooms with toilet. ||The house looks a bit battered, but it is a working farm. Our host was very pleasant, fluent in German and English. ||The basement was clean and tidy. Our room was beneath a kids' room by the sound of it, so much banging and noise in the evening, but a peaceful night. ||You must leave your boots at the outside door, and your room unlocked during the day, both of which were slightly unnerving to a Londoner! Our milk in the communal fridge was apparently used by others while we were out. The wifi worked fine in our room, although I believe it is less reliable in other rooms.||There are supermarkets in the village at the end of the track.
