Campsite is situated between Reykjavik and the airport. Pay up at the Lava hostel reception its quite expensive at 5300isk for campervan and 2 adults without electric hook up, your paying for the location. It's a level site between trees. While we were there It seemed to be a collection and drop off area for Roma camper vehicles with roof tents so it was quite noisy with people opening and closing doors while checking there campers until late night and early morning see picture off them all lined up. Facilities are small but clean and well kept there is a code to enter the facilities which are heated and have hot water. There are no plugs in the washing up facility sinks which is quite common for Iceland campsites. There are no kitchen facilities. Shower was clean although didn't look nice as the wall is stained but it was a good shower with room to hang things up and change.

費用包含洗熱水澡。沒有公共廚房，男女廁各有一個淋浴間跟兩間廁所，有一個洗衣間，室內外都有水槽，有充電（需付費）跟補水區。要利用Parka上網訂位輸入車牌，到現場系統會開柵欄讓你進去，但我們到時系統有點卡住，電話聯繫後他們遠端操作幫我們開柵欄。車位跟車道都小小的數量不多，但鄰近城市是我們環島最後一站的好選擇。

I was scared by the reviews but no! This place is perfectly clean. The bathrooms and shower are protected by a passcode which only the campers use. The shower had hot water. There is a sink with hot water outside the shed. The trash can did fill up by am and was overflowing, but was empty when I returned in the afternoon.

The kitchen is in the hostel and I do not think campers can use- but we needed to boil some milk for my little one and they let us.

It is a small place compared to other camp sites so was booked up fully- specially if you need electric hook ups.

The person at the front desk Hashimi is great and helpful

Of the 14 campsites I visited on my Iceland trip, this was clearly the worst. Not only overpriced - but for men only ONE toilet and ONE working urinal, ONE shower, no electricity at the bathroom sinks. NO cooking facility, no community room or something like that where you can sit. NOT OK for people with smaller campervans.

當天抵達已經晚上10點，門口柵欄在網頁上按不開，電話聯繫了管理員，很熱心很親切的幫我打開了柵欄，非常感謝。

Nice camp ground in town. The proceeds go to the local scout troop. We stayed there two days after it opened for the season so it wasn’t busy at all. Free showers and use of the washer and dryer are included in the price. The park is really nice to walk around in and there are a few play areas for kids. The sinks for washing dishes had plenty of hot water. There were a few picnic tables to eat at but the grill/food prep area was really run down. Luckily we could cook in our van so we didn’t need it.
