Welcoming and easy check in. Lovely views. Cabin was well equipped, comfy bed and clean. Hot tub warm every evening. Information available on local attractions in main building which was very helpful. Quiet location. Easy access to cabins.

One of the best hotel experiences in Iceland. The room was clean and spacious with roof windows to view northern lights directly from the room. You get access to sauna and jacuzzi in the evening (which was a surprise for us). Very close to beach which you can use for long walks and sunset viewing. Very responsive staff.

Managed to see the northern lights from here, it is a good location for that as it is quite dark! We stayed in the huts and they were amazing. Really well kitted out for your stay and very warm! Nice hot tub as well.

We stayed at this nice hotel, we had a very big room with a balcony. The room was great and the staff was really friendly. They encouraged us to have a bath on the hot spring and it was crazy! We also managed to see the lights here! Even with a 1.5 Kp level!!

Don't let the fact that this hotel is listed as a one star hotel put you off, I have stayed in 5 star hotels that are not as clean or welcoming. On arrival we received a friendly greeting, and although we were early we were able to go to our room. Although the rooms are not be biggest or packed with modern facilities, we again didn't need that. Who needs a TV when you have such stunning places to visit outside. ||As above the room was clean the beds were combatable, I asked for and received an extra pillow with no issues. The hotel is located close to the shops so provisions are not an issue and food can be cooked in the dining room, if you wish. We were there in off season so breakfast was not being served but a simple breakfast was provided in the mornings tea, coffee and hot chocolate all day.||The sauna and hot tub were a great place to watch the northern lights. After a couple of days we were moved to a sea facing cabin, as we were staying a week again this was very clean and had the addition of a small kitchen and dining area.||I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily go back there.

Convenient location for those who wish to explore the west area. The bungalow is a short distance from the main hotel, clean and fully equipped. It is quiet and there is a hot tub which we didn’t use. It’s near local supermarkets and restaurants.

We stayed in a cabin. Never met any of the staff. Cabin was perfect. Lots of windows for watching the northern lights, spacious, very clean with a small kitchen.

We stayed in one of the 5 cabins some 100m away from the hotel.|Quite nice, own parking lot in front, a hot spa free to use, comfy beds, a kitchen with some equipment (some more pots and bowls would be nice) and a stunning view across the ocean.|We stayed in Cabin 22.|Check-in and out were super easy.|We highly recommend a stay there
