Zimmer sind für eine Nacht total ok. Wir hatten allerdings ein Zimmer auf der Sonnenseite. Das Zimmer war dadurch extrem warm und das Fenster konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Personal war zwar sehr bemüht, wir bekamen Bier und Cola aufs Haus, das machte das Zimmer aber auch nicht kühler.

Das Zimmer war sehr rustikal eingerichtet. Wir schliefen Richtung Straße und es war relativ laut. Kein Kühlschrank, kein Safe im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war dafür gut.

I'd like to premise this by saying I don't like writing bad reviews, and don't want this one to come across as terrible. More "needs work".

On the outside it looks like a fairly upmarket hotel, all the common areas are and stairwells are very nicely decorated and look very upmarket.

However that doesn't extend into the halls to the rooms or the rooms themselves.

The two single rooms I've stayed in have been very dated, small and needing some tlc. Carpets are fairly worn, and stained in places, with very dated styling. Maybe late 90's early 2000's?

The wallpaper needs redone as is peeling in places, and the tiling in the bathroom isn't the best. There's a small gap and line marks where the flush is for the toilet. The shower needs a good clean or re-pointed as it's pretty grotty between tiles and in the corners. The shower curtain in this room has been repaired with duct tape and a cable tie which looks terrible.

I often stay in hotels as part of my work, this one isn't as good as many of the other 3 stars I've been in.

Location wise it's right on the motorway, so isn't the quietest. But that doesn't really bother me. 30-45 mins from the airport, a few restaurants about so not the worst overall. Just not great.

The staff are lovely and have been nothing but professional and very helpful. 10/10 for the staff!

Beds are comfy and clean, has smart tv's in the rooms which is great. Not an all bad hotel, just needs some tlc.

Overall, for the price, I wouldn't choose to stay here again in one of the single rooms. Have stayed twice, both single rooms, both haven't been great with issues like above. Would consider trying one of the bigger rooms due to the other reviews I've seen, or if it gets a small renovation.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Schnellstraße, dementsprechend laut ist es. Leider sind die Fenster nicht gut isoliert oder schallgedämmt. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber geräumig, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Preis- Leistung ok.

This hotel is located a little out of city center between Keflavik and Reykjavik. It was a comfortable hotel with good beds. We stayed here our first and last night. Comfortable price point and free parking. Dining options are available at an additional fee. They do require a cc hold for incidentals upon check in.

The room we went in was very old and outdated the bathroom shower and sink water smelt like rotten eggs the only good things I could say about the rooms were the beds were comfortable and the view was ok. Service was amazing everybody was very nice to us however the buffet was very limited. That caused us to try walk somewhere however the area we were in had an average amount of places to eat but most things were closed most of the time. I Wouldn’t recommend going here its expensive for what it is

Et udmærket, billigt hotel. Morgenmaden består mest af hvidt brød men der er fin frugt 🙂
Sengene er lidt hårde og der er larm fra hovedvejen næsten døgnet rundt. Husk ørepropper!

Das Hotel war okay, also war nix besonderes. Man kann die Fenster nicht öffnen, was sehr unangenehm war, weil sich das Zimmer sehr aufgeheizt hat durch die Sonne. In näherer Umgebung kann man nix machen, vor allem nicht abends. Würde nicht wiederkommen.
