Iceland travel made my trip to Iceland so simple. They connected me with every part of the journey required to have a smooth trip! Communication before the trip was excellent, and they sent a really comprehensive itinerary with car rentals, hotel stays, tours, and other pertinent information all in one online easy to read link. Trust they have excellent customer service

Cannot say enough great things about the Nine Worlds team, the luxury division of this company. My husband and I took our long overdue honeymoon this summer and everything was absolutely perfect. They provided top-notch service at every hotel, added special treats, like champagne and desserts, and treated us like royalty. We even had an excursion get canceled due to bad weather, and the team jumped right on it, rescheduled the excursion and, we didn’t have to lift a finger. The itinerary wasn’t disrupted and every detail was thought of. Would highly recommend this team for any travel that you are doing around Iceland. Trip of a lifetime! And all thanks to the team at Nine Worlds.

Great experience with Iceland Travel! As the organizer of a two-day "reward" trip for the 45 people in my company, the two Mathieu's from the agency were great helpers in making this challenge a success. Their ideas and varied suggestions for unusual activities before departure and their flawless organization once on site made this trip a real success. We spent two crazy days and one unforgettable evening under the midnight sun!

Don’t book tours with them.
Never ever

We been with them while on a HL Cruise.
They made a fortune with them. But service was really bad.
They stop at the most uninterested boring places but not a the best.
We ask to stop at a place where was a parking spot. I costed money. I say I pay it. Was just for 5 minutes to get a picture of Kirkjufell.
They advertise it on the FB page to make photos there.
And they won’t stop there.
For a turnover of 15000€ I expect a bit of service.
They only chasing money.

At the end there was no time to walk back to
Kirkjufell.
So I got no picture of it.
That was the main reason I’ve make the tour.
At the end the Guide beg for tips and didn’t want to give me information about the company.

I say it again.
Don’t go on your with them, unless you want to trow your money away like we did.

We bet you won't be able to resist once you see this picturesque mountain. A couple of angles make the most popular photographs. The first one is by Kirkufellsfoss waterfall on the left side of the road. The waterfall becomes an ideal foreground for the photo. The second one is on the other side of the main road, where the foreground image is a small lake. On a still day, you can get fantastic photos of Kirkjufell symmetrically reflected on the lake.

Do not book with this company. Their customer service is only providing you with support up until you make your last payment which is prior to your arrival in the country. They claim they are available to respond to your questions while you are on travel - that’s a lie. Nobody is available, they are not responding to neither emails nor your calls. We will never book with them again.

Iceland Travel lacks customer service. The office manager held the position that they are not at fault from the very start since she based everything on email hence your phone calls to the agents do not count. Despite air itinerary disconnected between office staff and customers and when we were instructed to take a taxi to catch up with the group at the next destination, the manager sent me an email accusing me that I chose to take the more expensive mode of transportation instead of the buses. When I confronted her that we were instructed to take a taxi she decided to reimbursed us half the cost for the taxi ride. At my own expense that I also spoke with the office manager and advised her of the taxi ride instructed by her staff, but her selective memory decided to throw the verbal insult at me but after her confirming with her staff that indeed I was instructed to take a taxi, the manager decided to reimbursed me for half the cost. So this 100euro is definitely no goodwill and dang I was cheap! My husband and I have been to 32 countries but this is the first time that we had to book our own air travel. When I was unsure I even called the agency to confirm but I guess there is a major disconnect between Iceland Tour office staff and I. So phone calls are not going to save you if anything goes wrong. The manager will only go by email communications hence her position was that the whole fiasco was our fault. They are sweet peas when nothing goes wrong but refuses to acknowledge their shares of mistakes. The South Coast, Golden Circle & Snaefellsnes itinerary is actually really light. There's a lot of driving to cover the vast distances but not much time is spent at each site; maybe due to the cold weather or the group we had. In order to keep the tour package cost down, the dinner has only one course, anything else you want will be out of your own pocket. Lunch was cafeteria style at Tourists Visit center. Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura is old and has a musky smell but you will get used to it or too tired to care; however the front desk was very helpful. Icelandair Hotel Fluoir is another old hotel and doesn't even have coffee or tea available in the room. This package is supposed to be 7 days and 6 nights. First day is on your own and it's your arrival day, and last day is departure so it is really 5 days and 4 nights. If they would quicken the pace a tad, the itinerary itself only calls for 3 days and 2 nights and at best it should be 4 days and 3 nights. The local guide Erling is good. For this tour, there was a total of 6 in the group and the eldest couple is in their 90s and the other couple is in the 70s. We are in our 50s and so very slow pace.

I've had such a great experience with Iceland Travel during each of my three trips to Iceland. The people who work there are so knowledgeable about Iceland's history and culture and excited to teach you all about their fascinating and beautiful country. I couldn't recommend them more! What other tour company offers you the opportunity to plant a tree with your family and adopt an Icelandic goat?! You really get an authentic experience when you book with Iceland Travel. Also highly recommend the trip to Siglufjordur. It's an adorable little town. We saw amazing Northern Lights there.

Congratulations on the excellent 9-day/8-night "Iceland Complete" tour that Iceland Travel performs and the excellent work done by Gudny Margrét Emilsdóttir guide and bus driver Tommy.
My wife and I had the opportunity to be part of the group of 29 people who took this tour between the 1st and 9th of this month, where 2 more Portuguese couples also participated.
All participants liked it, but on behalf of the group of 6 Portuguese, I would like to express our thanks for the fact that the itinerary is actually "complete", covering the entire island in a true circle, including namely 5 dinners and several extra nature visits, such as microbrewery & beer tasting, Folk Museum, Herring Era Maritime Museum and Horse Show.
But what we would especially like to highlight was the way the tour was carried out, that is, not only the performance of the guide GUDNY throughout the monitoring, with a high level of fellowship, competence and professionalism, but also the careful work of conducting and stowing the luggage provided by driver Tommy.
Your company deserves this recognition and we wish you every success in the return of tourism in Iceland.
