Sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz mit einer tollen Aussicht auf Meer und Berge. Um die Robben zu sehen muss man circa 10 Minuten laufen auf einem sehr gut ausgebauten Wanderweg. Der Platz hatte jetzt im April 1 offenes Klo mit heißem Wasser. Es war sauber und gut zu benutzen. Check-In und Bezahlung läuft über eine Website. Ist dort super erklärt und klappt reibungslos.

Wir konnten dort auch wunderschöne Nordlichter beobachten 😍

Parking de pago 1000 coronas. Baños limpios y gratuitos. Luego caminas por un sendero de fácil acceso hacia la playa. Vimos como un 15 focas mis hijos las iban contando. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y se ven aves. Hay una caseta con libro de firmas.Hay otras zonas donde se ven más focas .

Accessible via une piste assez longue (armez vous d'un peu de patience). Au mois d'avril ce n'est pas vraiment un camping mais un parking assez classique payable via l'application Parka. Pas de douche ici mais un WC propre avec lavabo. Pas d'espace commun pour la cuisine non plus, mais une vue absolument magnifique sur la mer et surtout une belle récompense à l'arrivée avec l'observation des phoques !

LE: my review was from august 2024. Right now I see that a lot has changed since one year ago. Apologies if somehow I mislead you.
A basic campsite but very good for seal watching. Really close to the beach that you can observe the seals. Only two sinks and two toilets and no showers. The road is quite bumpy until you reach the campsite. You pay the fee through Parka app. Amazing sunset and harsh wind. We payed only 25 euros for two people and a campervan

BE AWARE! The camping looks nice but placing a Parka surveilance BEFORE the camping ground to pay first for the parking 1000 isk and after than another 2133 (333 tourist tax) isk per person is a scam. If you only come to the camping why do we need to pay the Parking spot too? If you only come to see the spot you have to pay 8€ because you cannot park outside the cameras! AND if i come at 23:00 a clock in the evening i will pay 1000 isk at parka and then have to pay AGAIN from 00:00 because the parking is available for one day UNTIL MIDNIGHT no matter when you come Like what This scam is all over Iceland. It was not like that in 2023. I understand if i have yo pay the parking so expensive but not 8€ for 5 minutes or worse pay for less than a minute if i come at midnight! The camping is nice but make sure you stay and pay the necessary amount or you get fined.

Perfect if you are with a van and self sufficient. There is one toilet and that’s it. We camped alone and it felt very remote. The drive here can be a bit tricky in winter. But seeing the seals made it all worth it.

There is nobody that can help you though. Owner didn’t pick up the phone, when we had a question. So be prepared.

This camping is a very basic place, with two toilets, two outdoor sinks and two picnic tables. However, everything was clean and in good condition.
The camping is located near to a seal watching spot - you need to walk a couple of minutes to get there.
You can book a spot via the Parka app or pay at the venue.

This campsite was 1200 ISK per person and had all the basic necessities. Just a toilet and outdoor sinks to wash dishes, no showers. They did have hot water which was a perk. In the morning we got up to follow a very easy path to look for seals and found some around 07:00 with low tide being at 06:10.
