We did the Ice cave tour early September.
Easy to find facilities, good guide. He made us learn a lot about the area.
The hike was super easy and beautiful.
The cave was very cool although it’s not the size we had saw prior to booking.

We had an amazing experience on the South Coast glacier tour! Our guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing so much interesting information about the area and its history. My recent Cave Tour with Katlatrack was a phenomenal experience and the highlight of my trip to Iceland this past July 2025. From start to finish, the entire team provided top-notch service and an unforgettable adventure.

My Tour Guide, Antonio, was a true professional—incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about Iceland's unique geology and history. He made the experience interactive and educational, sharing fascinating insights about the glacier and the Katla volcano. The customer service was exceptional, and it was clear that the entire team is dedicated to ensuring safety and providing every guest with the best possible experience.

The views throughout the tour were breathtaking. The journey in the super jeep was an adventure in itself, but nothing prepared me for the spectacular scenery of the glacier. Inside the ice cave, the blend of mesmerizing blue ice with ancient volcanic ash created an otherworldly, "dragon glass" effect that was truly magnificent.

I highly recommend this tour. The professionalism of the team, the amazing views, and Antonios's genuine enthusiasm and amazing energy made this a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Also, the Pizza was delicious

The KatlaTrack glacier tour was an unforgettable experience for our entire family. Walking across the glacier with crampons strapped to our boots felt like stepping into another world. The kids (ages 9 and 6) were thrilled when they got to swing pickaxes to chip away ice and even taste the ancient glacier pieces—a highlight they’re still talking about!

Our guide Davis was fantastic, sharing fascinating insights about the region and the careful work that goes into maintaining safe access to this incredible landscape. The ride up in the monster-tired van was an adventure in itself, bouncing over rugged terrain and adding to the overall excitement.

This was truly a unique experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommend for families looking for something special!

Amazing tour!!!
Our guide took us not only the black ice cave but to black desert, lava field, and the filming location of star wars: rouge one.
It was a really fun tour, must try!!!

This was worth the high price. Being able to go out on a glacier and walk up it to see an ice cave was amazing. Even though the cave was small, it is naturally formed which makes it that much more special. I can't remember our guides name, but he made the entire trip so much more enjoyable. Talking on the way there, giving information on the way up, taking our pictures there, and giving more information with history on the way down. Then we drove off-road on the way back which was so much fun! I hope to enjoy an experience like this again in the future!

Très belle visite matinale sous un grand soleil de la grotte de katla. Carlos notre guide était très serviable et plein d'explications intéressantes. Les conséquences du réchauffement climatique sont clairement mises en avant lors de cette visite et visibles sur place. Nous avons passé un super moment et ne pouvons que conseiller Katlatrack pour cette sortie
