We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn for four nights and absolutely loved our stay. It was further from Reykjavik than we originally thought but it worked out just fine. We didn't want to stay so close to the city anyways but thought we were about 30 minutes away but it was closer to an hour. We arrived early in the morning but had booked the room for the night before because we wanted to go right to bed after traveling all night long. When we got there though it smelled SO good, so instead we went to breakfast right away and it was delicious. There were eggs, American bacon (I was super excited about that. Not the European bacon), little sausages (reminded me of little smokies), beans, waffles (they were amazing!), three cereals, some fruit, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, apple juice and the best bread ever! All of the staff I encountered were very polite and helpful. Our room was a standard size but the bed was super comfy. It was really nice to be able to walk down to two lighthouses and the beach. It was so pretty. Loved how it was quiet and out of the way. If we were ever in the area again I would definitely stay there again.

We loved the location of this hotel. Very close to the airport. It is very clean and the staff is very accommodating. Great place to view the northern lights and the staff notified us when the northern lights should be out. Would definitely stay here again!

Cet hôtel a été une très belle surprise! Choisi un peu au hasard pour son emplacement, nous y avons passé une très bonne nuit. La décoration est très belle. Notre chambre était spacieuse, vue sur mer. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Nous le recommandons vivement!

I loved this place, our double room was spacious with a comfortable bed, fridge and nice bathroom with a great shower. The hotel has a relaxed cabin feel, with wood panelled walls and spaces with armchairs to hang out if you don't want to sit in your room. The lady at reception was very friendly and knocked on our door when the northern lights were visible, so we didn't miss them. Breakfast was a buffet, with all the things you need. We asked for a take out Breakfast one morning though, and got the worst sandwich I'd ever had 🤣. The hotel is located right at the end of a very windy peninsula, with not much around, so you need a car to get to any restaurants or Reykjavik.

Absolute Gem! ||5 star service and would definitely stay again! Breakfast was great, Location and comfortable. ||I was looked after in the restaurant and meals adapted to help with my gluten allergy.||We didn’t get to see the northern lights due to the weather but this would be the perfect place to see them! ||Nice walks and very peaceful setting||Definitely recommend!
