Dásamleg dvöl í alla staði. Afskaplega notalegt viðmót starfsfólks, góður matur og kaffi. Hrein og fín gufuböð og mjög flott slökunaraðstaða í rúmgóðum sal með legubekkjum, róandi tónlist og náttúru yfirbragði. Snyrtilegt og heimilislegt, sanngjarnt verð og kyrrlátt umhverfi.

This place was great! It was convenient to have so close to the Blue Lagoon. The breakfast was free daily and good; definitely try the danish and crossiants!! We had dinner there the one night which was also tasty and the chocolate cake I had was fantastic. The pillows honestly weren’t that great (very thin) but the bed wasn’t bad! The front desk (Fredrick especially) was super friendly and very helpful! He gave us some advice/suggestions for the rest of our trip as well. We hung out in the lounge area and played games by the fire and had a pretty awesome view. I loved that you didn’t have to walk outside to get to the other parts of the hotel too!! They offered to wake you up if the aurora was visible and the one night we were there it was very faint but still totally awesome to see!

Great little spot! Lovely accommodation. Nice breakfast bar and Max‘s restaurant was absolutely delicious! They were also able to accommodate gluten-free. Super friendly people and the owner was on site and very welcoming. Free shuttle to blue Lagoon and back, and they also have their own wellness spa and gym.

We had a great stay! We were looking for a few days of rest and relaxation. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the high quality down duvets and pillows. The staff was excellent and informed us anytime the Northern Lights were visible. We used the shuttle to the Blue Lagoon and enjoyed our stress free visit. The food was excellent and the restaurant service was fantastic. The hotel has done a great job of creating cozy and relaxing common areas which we used often. If we stop over in Iceland again, we will stay at this property. I highly recommend!

Arrived at this Hotel on our first night in Iceland. Instantly felt the warm welcome from Staff and the cosiness of the small Hotel. Communal Lounge area was very relaxing with an open fire and drinks which you can help yourself to from the honesty Bar. Bedroom was very comfortable for 3 of us. Large Double bed and Single Bed. Pillows very soft. The area is so quiet so had a great night sleep. Bathroom had L'Occitane Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash. We ate in Max's Restaurant for dinner. Food was beautiful and service was excellent. Breakfast was really good with a large selection of Hot food (Sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans). Yoghurts, fruit, cheeses & ham, cereals, pastries and toast. Juices and Teas & Coffees. Manager was very helpful in recommending what direction we should travel to start our Golden Circle tour and recommended places to stop and eat. Tip: you need a car really to stay here.

Northern Light Inn exceeded our expectations. I knew from the photos, other reviews, price, and hospitality shown even in the email communication that NLI would be amazing - however it was even better than we expected. The staff is insanely friendly and welcoming, the value for both the room and restaurant is also outstanding. The inn also feels very comfortable, with the honesty bar having a living room feeling, almost like you are having a big sleepover with your friends. I cannot wait to come back in the summer. They also handle the volcano situation very well and are very upfront about possible evacuation without making it nervewracking.

We had a lovely one night stay here. The rooms are clean, the service is excellent and they offer a northern lights night call if they appear! There is a great living room area with comfy seats, a fire and puzzles / cards. The hotel is close to Blue Lagoon and the airport. They have had a few recent eruption warnings and evacuations but were extremely clear about the procedures and we felt very comfortable staying there.
