Ein ganz toller Platz Gehörte zu den besten auf unserer Tour Der Platzwart, ein Deutscher, war sehr nett. Wir unterhielten uns nett über unseren Volvo. Sehr tolle Plätze zwischen Lavabrocken. Abends einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Das Servicegebäude sehr gepflegt, einzig die Küche ist für die Anzahl Leute ziemlich eng.

Ein ganz toller Platz! Gehörte zu den besten auf unserer Tour!
Der Platzwart, ein Deutscher, war sehr nett. Wir unterhielten uns nett über unseren Volvo. Sehr tolle Plätze zwischen Lavabrocken. Abends einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Das Servicegebäude sehr gepflegt, einzig die Küche ist für die Anzahl Leute ziemlich eng.

This was a perfect campsite. Very quiet and lowkey. There are several hiking trails and plenty to do and see. The amenities were super clean and since there were only two other patrons staying when we stayed, we had full use of private showers, kitchen and bathrooms with no wait time. Staff is not onsite 24/7. The gentleman arrived around 8:30am to begin cleaning and collected our fees then. The kitchen was warm, had 2 tables for guests, and a bar top seating, as well as WiFi. Will definitely return here again.

At 3800ISK for 2 people, this was the BEST value and BEST campsite.

This campsite deserves 6 stars for their fully equipped indoor kitchen! A proper cooktop with an exhaust and all the supplies you would need? A microwave? Plenty of outlets? A dining table? (And 2 picnic tables outside and 2 additional outdoor sinks outside) Glorious campsite. I also LOVED that they had a barrier free accessible gender neutral bathroom for folks who might need it. Only campsite I saw that!

The wifi was super slow/weak but I had good data connection. The only downside is their hand dryers in the bathroom do NOT blow air with any force. It like…breathes very hot air so your hands will just be wet and really hot after attempting. Better off shaking your hands and wiping on your pants or your own hand or face towel if you bring one. Maybe the motor on the fan needs to be repaired.

There was one shower and two toilet stalls for women but I didn’t shower there so can’t review that part! Toilets were clean. There was also a super funny sign about how to use a toilet brush.

Electric hook up next to camper but didn't use.

Super beautiful campsite, quite big for everyone and it is very clean. It has a big house with a commune area inside and outside and with two showers and only 3 toilets for every gender. In 20 mins you get to walk around Olafsvik which is a lovely village. We payed 25 euros for two people and a campervan
