One of the most delightful museums I’ve been to in Iceland, well worth a visit. My friend and I decided to go on a whim while stopping for coffee next door. It also happened to be the opening of a new art exhibition in the space, what luck! We’re on an art & culture cycling tour of Iceland and this was one of my favorite stops.

Very interesting museum with good collection of birds and also information of local history.
Museum curator told us a lot about the city life and school system too.

Antica casa islandese completamente ristrutturata conservandone lo stile. Posizione centrale con comodo parcheggio. Camere accoglienti con lavandino all’Interno. Bagno in comune dotato di lavatrice e asciugatrice. Cucina moderna e funzionale

Interesting collection, beautiful and informative. The exhibition "Desire to Fly" was very well installed. You could see the eggs of the birds next to them and the arrangement was very artistic. When we went to Pálshús there was also another exhibition going on, about the the fish industry in Ólafsfjörður. Really interesting as well. 5 stars!
