Þegar ég kom þarna var ég í göngutúr til Systrastapa .það var þó nokkuð vatn í læknum og fossinn skartaði sínu fegursta í sólskininu. Allt umhverfið í kringum fossinn er glæsilegt og rauði liturinn gerir staðinn mjög fallegan.
Ég geri mér grein fyrir því að upplifun ferðamanna fer eftir því hvað mikið vatn er í læknum.
Ég var ánægður með göngutúrinn að fossinum,hann kom á óvart.

Not one of the bigger ones around, but what makes this one so nice is that it’s off the beaten path a bit. We hung out here for an hour and saw maybe 4 other people. You have to take a rough gravel ride for maybe a kilometer to get to parking area, from there it’s maybe a 5 min walk, round the corner and there it is! Flow is lower than most, so you can walk in and through it. Super fun!

A small waterfall on the hike. Need to cross the water in order to continue. Not very deep easily done (september). Nice view from the short and easy hike.

Amazing waterfall. It appears on the top of the mountain and occasionally didn't fall into the river but was blown away by the strong winds.

Beautiful hidden gem. Not the most powerful or big waterfall of course, but it had this perfect combination of colours and calmness. Also, there were no other tourists, so we had this place to enjoy for ourselves. Just drive the Systrapi road until the signs tell you to stop, follow the walking path and you’ll find the waterfall after approximately 5 minutes of walking. Enjoy!

Waterfalls are different from one to another. Worth to pay a visit with camping site. Close to bakery and a store. Dont forget to climb in two sister lake to add more spice in your adventure.
