Can’t say I recommend or trust them.
They fix one thing break two.
Had them fix something in my engine and they broke my headlights they didn’t charge me the first time they fixed it but they didn’t fix it and it went out again and they charged me for it that time then it went out again and when I checked on the bulb myself the glass had been broken off so it would only last for a couple of days before going out.
Also paid them around 200þ kr plus to change all the engine seals in my car and they did it but instead of using seals they used silicon that doesn’t hold pressure or oil so I was losing about 1l of oil every 100 km. when I went back to them to tell them about it they just said it was because I had a Subaru and they had nothing to do with it leaking oil. Had to get rid of my dream car because I didn’t have the money nor the know how or tools to fix what they messed up. Could not recommend them if I had to use one word for my experience with them I would use un professional. Photo bellow of my oil filter Housing I think that’s what it’s called. Didn’t have a seal but just a bunch of “skítamix” like people call this. This was the main point of oil leak.

Amazing service. The door of our rental got broken by crazy winds. We found Unicars and drove to them. They got it fixed in less than 10 minutes and charged a reasonable price. If you ever have issues with your rental while in Iceland I recommend going to them 110%. Great customer service and super friendly staff. Thank you UniCars for saving us! 🙂

Our Happy Camper tires weren’t aligned correctly, causing wearing on the front passenger side tire, we could see the belt wearing through and we worried it might blow. We called Happy Campers (they were awesome as well) who sent us to nearby UniCars. We arrived at 9am and were in and out in 20 minutes with two new tires. So fast, convenient and efficient. We really appreciated being able to continue our travels with barely a blip in our plans.

We started having an issue with out rental car. This place was recommended by the rental car agent as well as our hotel staff. They were absolutely right. UniCars fixed the car less than two hours! We were able to continue with our trip. Thank you, UniCars!

Arrivés un vendredi à 17h15 pour une fermeture à 17h. Nous voyons la porte du garage ouverte avec un ouvrier en train de travailler et avons simplement besoin d un tournevis pour resserrer la cosse de la batterie auxiliaire de notre camper de location.
Nous allons nous présenter au propriétaire qui n'a pas pris le temps de venir voir le problème et nous a tout de suite demander de payer 45000isk si nous souhaitions qu il regarde. En effet, après les horaires "habituels", c'est un forfait minimum pour les urgences.
Nous avons passé notre tour et heureusement que ce genre de comportement n'est pas monnaie courante chez les islandais.

The worst experience ever, if you can avoid it, please do. My car was there for 6 weeks and not even properly diagnosed, lack of communication and collaboration, I was the one who was supposed to find parts and become a mechanic to understand things and accelerate the process, but they didn't care and play the victim card. I ended up using a trailer to get my car to Reykjavik. If I could give them less than a star, I would happily do it!

PS: The car was not towed, I brought it myself, and it wasn't even driving anymore when I came back, nobody told me that...so I had to struggle putting it on the trailer...

The car WASN'T DIAGNOSED correctly by you, luckily some people can fix it in a few days, while some incapable like you not even diagnose it in 6 weeks...Don't wash your dirty hands with 'not promised to be fixed' bull...t...I was even charged by you for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Good that you guys wasted my whole summer, I've been warned by towing agencies about you, so you already have a bad reputation, but I'll make sure I tell everyone (hundreds of tourists a day and local friends) I get in contact with about my experience with you, as a 'THANK YOU'...

I see you answer your bad reviews faster than my calls and emails about the car...That's the spirit!!!
